BRAIN WAITING ROOM is a site-oriented trio that takes place at the former faculty residence hall and adjacent schoolyard of
Ss. Joseph and Dominic Catholic Academy (of Most Holy Trinity Parish) in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It is conceived and choreo-
graphed/directed by Marina Libel, and performed by Rebecca Ketchum, Ben Vershbow, and Marina Libel. With humor and rigor,
we use original compositional systems to build layers of casually contrasting movement. We think you'll have fun watching us
do it. And how.
Brooklyn is the first in a series of relocations of this evolving project that adapts and grows out of each new venue we encounter.
The use of the current spaces is made possible through The Trinity Project, an art-and-community barter program. Marina is
proud to teach dance/creative movement to third graders at Ss. Joseph and Dominic Catholic Academy as part of an exchange
of creative, spatial, and community resources.
